Film 16mm colour – 18 mins
Inspired by adolescent angst and familial back-story the film depicts a quarrelsome family en route to Jaywick Sands for their summer holidays. Seaside iconography and the coastal ‘edge’ influence this cruel and discordant universe.
A first for writing collaboration with Sean Lock (who is also in the film along with Simon Munnery) and production collaboration with Ben Woolford.
Shot around Pevensey flats in East Sussex, close to where I now live.
